My Story

The genesis of this website is my personal experience and the experiences of people who I've talked to in the last 11 years as a Pastor in the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.

I grew up in a different church that seemed to present the message that God loves people as long as they do what God wants them to do.  If I did actions A, B and C or if I failed to do Actions X, Y and Z, then God would no longer love me.

One day God moved a Christian whom I had come to know while serving in the Air Force to witness to me about God's unconditional love.  He then explained to me that I need not fear God because in His love, God the Father punished Jesus for my sins and that now, for Jesus sake, my sins were all forgiven.

This beautiful gospel message set me on a course in which I eventually became a pastor.  In the course of my public ministry, the Holy Spirit has given me thousands of opportunities to witness to others about what Jesus has done for them.

What I discovered in these encounters is that my experience as a youth was not unusual.  For many and various reasons, unchurched people and even many people who once attended Christian churches, didn't understand that God saves us by grace alone, for Jesus sake alone, through faith alone.  In other words, we are saved not because of anything we do, but because of what Jesus has done for us.

That is what this website and the Christian items contained herein are all about: To get the message out that what Jesus has done for us, which is always perfect, is the basis for our salvation, not anything that he does in us or through us, which due to our sinful nature, is always imperfect.

I hope that you will take a the time to read more about what Jesus has done 4U in that section of our webpage.  The pastors who wrote the various Jesus 4u's are all veterans with a heart for missions and I wish to publicly thank them here.

My hope and prayer is that the products sold on this website will not only bring Jesus' name and what he has done FOR us to members of God's family, but that the Holy Spirit will use the Jesus4U witness cards included with each purchase to convert the hearts of those who do not yet know what Jesus has done for them.
